PAINTINGS
Ghost’s paintings are a fusion of his military experiences and heritage, capturing powerful emotions through bold colors and dynamic compositions. From deeply personal reflections on combat to vivid tributes to his culture, his work showcases a unique perspective that inspires pride, resilience, and self-expression.

As the Palace Burns | Acrylic on Canvas,
14"H x 11"W
An homage to the band Lamb of God and an observance of the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Bomber | Acrylic on Canvas, 14"H x 11"W
Bomber planes in formation depicted as grinning humanoid figures dropping munition straight out of the dark heart of man.

Fury | Acrylic and Aerosol on Canvas, 30"H x 40"W
This was commissioned by a friend who was a tank crewman and took part in the invasion of Iraq in 2003. He felt a connection to the characters in the movie and saw my artwork which motivated him to get this painted.

Conejo Blanco | Acrylic on Canvas, 20"H x 16"W
This is my rendition of the white rabbit from the newer Alice in wonderland. I did it as a series of movie characters during my live art and gun show vending days.

Dictatorshit | Acrylic on Canvas, 30"H x 24"W
This is a shirt design for Grunt Style. This was one of three I did for them. This one symbolizes the American war machine toppling dictators. The rattlesnake twists around a toppled statue of Sadam Hussein.

Doomsday Bunny | Acrylic on Canvas, 20"H x 16"W
I was commissioned by a friend of mine to paint the white rabbit from Alice In Wonderland but with more of a dark twist.

Duality | Acrylic and Aerosol on Canvas, 30"H x 40"W
This is a story of the two worlds the warrior lives in. In one world, it's combat and they obsess about leaving and returning home. The other side, they obsess about going back to combat.

Dusk | Acrylic on Canvas, 20"H x 16"W
This comes from a sketch I did over 20 years ago that depicts Death walking through a battlefield at dusk after the dust has settled.

I Heart War | Acrylic and Aerosol on Canvas, 40"H x 30"W
I was inspired by the helmet graffiti of the Vietnam war. Often times the soldiers would write really lude, vulgar, obscene, sarcastic, and ironic messages on the sides on their helmets in combat as a way of personalizing their stuff. I wrote my own joking message on the helmet as an attempt at humor. Those who understand get a slight chuckle out of it and those who don’t get offended and curse me as a person and artist and that’s fine with me too.

Big Kahuna Burger | Acrylic on Canvas, 16"H x 20"W
This is a still from the movie Pulp Fiction where the character Jules played by Sam Jackson takes a bite out of his target's cheeseburger.

Knives and Lint | Acrylic on Canvas,
40"H x 30"W
This is a still from the movie the Dark Knight with the Joker played by Heath Ledger as he sits in the jail cell taunting the Gotham PD.

Last Rites by the Plague Doctor | Acrylic on Canvas, 20"H x 16"W
I remember my state of mind during this painting was extremely dark and abysmal so it prompted me to paint something extremely depressing, and I’ve always loved plague imagery so I thought it was fitting.

Long Road Home | Acrylic, Aerosol, and Airbrush on Canvas, 44"H x 34"W
This is a recreation of a promo still of the NG miniseries of the same title. This image is a very powerful and meaningful depiction of the comradery of warriors in the combat zone. This sold at a silent auction and half of the proceeds went to aid and assist combat veterans.

Phantom 10 | Acrylic and Aerosol on Canvas, 20"H x 16"W
This is the tenth in the series of "phantoms" I painted. The idea being that the general public can tell you everything about some athlete, or celebrity, but hardly anyone can tell you anything about the warriors of this nation. The warrior is faceless, nameless, anonymous.

Send Me Back | Acrylic on Canvas, 20"H x 16"W
This is another skull wearing a helmet with graffiti on it that tells the world how they feel. They want to go back to a warzone.

Stranger | Acrylic on Canvas, 20"H x 16"W
This is another still from the Dark Knight, this is the moment in the intro of the film where the last living bank robber takes off his mask to reveal his true identity.

Walk the Line | Acrylic and Aerosol on Canvas, 40"H x 30"W
This is one of many musicians that I have painted during my journey. This is a recreation of a famous photo taken of Johnny Cash at one of his famous prison performances.

Thumper with Cute Bunny | Acrylic on Canvas, 16"H x 20"W
The nickname for the M79 grenade launcher is “thumper.” I drew Thumper from Bambi holding “thumper.”

World of Pain | Acrylic and Aerosol on Canvas, 30"H x 24"W
This piece was commissioned by another combat veteran. This one depicts the character Walter played by John Goodman in the big Lebowski. This guy is an exaggerated and comedic but relatable depiction of combat veterans.

Comfort Zone | Acrylic and Aerosol on Canvas, 20"H x 16"W
This was again inspired by helmet graffiti. This cut and dry message expresses how I feel at times along with many other veterans out there. Being home in peace is almost like a foreign land where the local language and culture is almost impossible to learn. Of course that’s not try it just takes a little bit of time and effort.
