This design was done for a collaboration with Grunt Style apparel brand. This is 1/3 designs. I was inspired by the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and the overthrowing of the Sadam Hussein regime by American ground forces. I used some iconography to depict this idea. The screaming skull that wears a combat helmet, spews forth the warrior spirit represented by the rattler, which constricts around the toppled statue of Hussein as his reign of terror comes to an end. This style is for sure influenced by heavy metal artwork and 70s fantasy art like Giger and Frazetta.
