I've painted this concept many times, it's on a t-shirt design for grunt style. The latest one has the words written onto the cloth covering a the helmet in crappy handwriting. This concept comes from my tour in Afghanistan. We were working out of Kandahar Airfield and it is very famous for having this giant shit pond that can be seen on google maps. It's become a gag tourist attraction for troops passing through there over the 20 years we flushed down the drain in that country. I thought it would make a cute souvenir post card at the KAF gift shop that you could send to your family back home. It would be you and your buddies posing in from of the shit pond with the words on the car "Wish you were here." And it became an idea that I've recycled many times because there were plenty of environments that we operated in that would've made an equally shitty postcard.
